Who we are

Boost is operated by InsightStudios, LLC ("InsightStudios", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit BoostOS.rocks, when you use the Boost platform as a subscribing contractor, and when you contact one of our customers through a website, chat widget or phone line that we operate on their behalf.

If you are a homeowner who contacted a contractor through a Boost-powered site, that contractor is the controller of your information and we process it on their instructions. Contact the contractor first; we will help them respond.

Information we collect

Account information you give us: name, business name, trade, email, phone number, mailing address, billing details and login credentials.

Customer data you or your customers submit through the platform: contact details, service addresses, job descriptions, appointment times, photos, notes, estimates, invoices and payment status.

Communications: chat transcripts, SMS messages, form submissions, and call metadata such as time, duration and tracking number. Where call recording is enabled, recordings and transcripts, subject to the notice and consent rules of the applicable state.

Usage and device data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with the product, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information

To provide, maintain and secure the service; to build and host your website; to route, answer and schedule inbound leads; to send review requests, invoices and reminders on your behalf; to provide support; to bill you; and to detect fraud and abuse.

To improve the service. We analyze aggregated and de-identified usage data to improve performance and features. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your customer data to train general-purpose models offered to third parties.

To communicate with you about the service, including changes, outages, security notices and account matters. Marketing email is optional and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Text messaging and calls

The platform sends SMS on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to message your customers and for honoring opt-outs; we process STOP, UNSTOP and HELP keywords automatically and suppress messaging to numbers that have opted out.

Message and data rates may apply to recipients. Call tracking numbers we provision remain assigned to your account for the duration of your subscription.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the product, plus analytics cookies to understand how the marketing site and product are used. Websites we build for you may include analytics and advertising tags that you ask us to install; you control those.

You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the product will not work without the necessary ones.

How we share information

Service providers who work on our behalf under contract: cloud hosting, telephony and messaging carriers, payment processors, email delivery, error monitoring, analytics and customer support tooling. They may use the data only to provide services to us.

Platforms you direct us to connect to, such as Google Business Profile, advertising platforms, calendars, accounting or field-service systems.

Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of InsightStudios, our customers or the public.

Business transfers: if InsightStudios is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Retention

We keep account and customer data for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation we retain data for 30 days so you can export it, then delete or de-identify it within 90 days, except where we must keep records for tax, accounting, dispute or legal-hold reasons.

Backups are retained on a rolling schedule and are overwritten within 35 days.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, audit logging, environment separation and regular dependency patching. Access to customer data by our staff is limited to support and operations personnel who need it.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay and in any case within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. Florida residents have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and residents of California and other states have comparable rights, including the right to know, delete, correct and to opt out of the sharing of personal data for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise a right, email privacy@boostos.rocks from the address on your account. We will verify the request and respond within 45 days, or tell you why we need more time. You may use an authorized agent.

Children and international transfers

The service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We operate in the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, you understand that your information will be processed in the US under this policy.

Changes and contact

We will post material changes to this policy on this page and update the date above; if the change is significant we will email account owners at least 14 days before it takes effect.
